“I booked a prepaid room. We had to move it out one more day. When I called, I was told it would be another 55.00. I was a GM most of my life, most recently for Best Western, and I never would have treated my customers the way I was treated over that. Not only from the AGM from the hotel but also from the customer relations of BW. And then on top of that, I get charged $18 for parking?????? That’s insane! In all my years of being a GM I never worked for a hotel that charged for parking! The one and only bright spot of that hotel was the clerk on duty named MJ. I am appalled at what has happened to customer service in the hospitality industry!!! ”

“I appreciated checking in early but not the fee. The hotel was very worn down and felt unkempt. My room lamp had stuff splattered all over it. My team was not connecting to channels the first part of my stay. I woke up to noise several times outside my window- I was on the first level. ”

“Your ada accessible room was NOT accessible! Could step into tub to shower. No way to open door from wheelchair and keep it open long enough. Please remove the bed skirt. Wheels kept entangling. Bed way to high, had to lay trashcan on its side to step in. Configuration of furniture: please move bench out of entryway. Room, especially bathroom, very dusty and grimy. Please do better”

“We were greeted at check-in very warmly. The first night was hard on me as the only pillows were all huge. The next day I asked at the desk if there were any smaller pillows and the front desk attendant scrambled to find me one that would be more comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing! ”

“Very comfortable bed. Nice staff. The bathroom counter was not cleaned and there was what appeared to be coffee drips and little spills all over the counter. As other reviewers have mentioned, the daily parking fee is not called out or mentioned by front desk staff. The individual that checked me in even asked if I had a vehicle, and I said yes and they said you will need this parking pass. That would have been the time to clarify or mention there is an additional parking fee and not just glossing over it even if it is in writing elsewhere. There are nicer properties for the same daily rate if you add up this property's daily rate and their daily parking fee. The hotel is in a nice proximity to the convention center, but having the front entry doors locked 24/7 is a bit concerning and I have never seen that at any property I have ever stayed at.”

“It was my first time in Phoenix and I had a remarkable stay at the Best Western. The front desk staff were all amazing, very professional and helpful. The amenities on the property were nice. I really enjoyed the basketball court and the fitness center along with the pool. And lastly a great continental breakfast scrambled eggs crispy bacon, fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, toast and all fresh and yummy. How can I forget to mention you can make your own waffles who doesn't love that. Great price, great place , and great location. Book your stay today.”

“I believed the attitude of the young man who registered me set the tone. He was efficient, personable and professional! Working alone he demonstrated he has mastered multitasking. He attended to a guests ahead of me and handled my registration as the guest returned for various items without us experiencing any delay!”
